KPI Recruiting currently have an exciting opportunity to join our client in the ST6 area as a CNC Milling Machine Operative

As a press CNC operative, you will play a vital part in the running of the cnc milling machine and will be self sufficient within your role. We are looking for a driven and experienced individual who will fit within the company.

The role will involve operating and setting the milling machines. 

The machines used are Haas VMC’s, so experience operating these machine is essential.

90% of your time will be spent operating, setting and programming milling machines, however occasionally you will be using lathes
 

What the role offers:

• Monday to Friday
• 8.00am to 4:30pm (3:30pm finish on a Friday)
• £13.00-£14.00  per hour
• Perm or temp to perm opportunity DOE
• Free on-site parking

The Job Role:

• Operating and setting Haas VMC machines.
• Programming machines
• Operation of lathes when required.
• Reading drawing and ensuring accurate settings on machines.
• Quality checking finished products
• Troubleshooting issues throughout the production process.
• Ensuring a clean and safe working area
