As a Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant, you should help instil the value of knowledge and understanding in a range of academic subjects in students. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers and other education support staff to work closely with students in the classroom, as well as 1:1 and in small group settings. You’ll have the opportunity to inspire more-able students to achieve their potential, by instilling an interest for learning in them. The role will include a mixture of practical and theoretical tasks to provide a well-rounded experience for both the students’ education, and to develop your own skillset.
