SHEQ Assistant 

My client is seeking an ambitious and motivated health and safety professional to join them on a full time and permanent basis. They will work closely with the Group SHEQ Manager to continually improve and maintain the SHEQ Management System. This role offers career growth, with the right candidate progressing to the Group SHEQ Manager position within the next 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Group SHEQ Manager in all aspects of the SHEQ Management System, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Provide support to various operations within the business under the guidance of the Group SHEQ Manager.
• Gradually assume ownership of specific elements within the SHEQ Management System.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with policies and procedures.
• Understanding of safety and environmental risk assessments.
• Knowledge of quality management systems.
• Strong motivation for personal development, including participating in training courses.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
