Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.9/5 and over 400+ reviews is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Operating Room Nurses/Theatre Nurses (Operating Department Practitioners, ODPs) to work in George Town on a full-time basis.

The salaries for these permanent Operating Room Nurse/Theatre Nurse jobs are £57,600 - £67,200 per annum.

Benefits:

• KYD 4,800.00 to KYD 5,600.00 per month (tax free).
• Eligible for overtime
• 15 days paid leave per annum (leave increase by 5 days on 5^th anniversary) + public holidays
• 10 days paid sick leave per annum
• All other leave as per the labour law
• Cost of work permit and annual fees covered
• We cover the application fee, registration fee and cost of your initial two year practicing license
• Tuition reimbursement of up to KYD 1,000 per annum
• Health Insurance - will cover 50% of the Standard Health Insurance Plan (SHIC Plus) plan for employee only, the employee will be responsible for the remaining 50%.
• Upon arrival in the Cayman Islands, will provide temporary accommodation for a period of two weeks where a permanent move to accommodation cannot be made immediately. We can also put you in touch with a realtor who has helped/ is helping new joiners find accommodation.
• 6 months’ probation as per labour law
• 1 month notice, but 24 hrs notice during probation leave.

Work Permit Process:

• 6 month temporary work permit. Is expressed within 5 working days.
• After the 6 months, move towards a Work Permit Grant which can be for 3 to 5 years and is renewable. Processing time is normally 3 months or longer.
• Employee can still continue working at this time. Note if they need to leave the island during the processing time can go to Immigration to obtain a re-entry stamp on their passport.
• In year 8 of being on island you can apply for Permanent Resident status in year 9. If you chose not to, then you need to leave the island for a year, before coming back.
• We have had a couple of employees return to us after the roll over year.

Requirements of the Operating Room Nurse/Theatre Nurses:

• Candidates who are skilled in Laparoscopic and Orthopedic procedures
• A post graduate operating room qualification is advantageous
