Salary - £500 – £540  P/W

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Graduate to join an top “Outstanding” school in Oadby, Leicestershire as a Graduate English Teaching Assistant, The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language and a desire to inspire students in their learning journey, as an Graduate English Teaching Assistant you will be creating Assisting with devolving engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and assessing student progress to ensure academic success.

Responsibilities of a Graduate English Teaching Assistant

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, to students of varying ages and abilities.
• Work closely with both teachers and students to inspire a deep understanding and love for English.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
• Focus on improving student attainment and the overall quality of learning.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic performance and any concerns.

Skills -  Graduate English Teaching Assistant

• Strong knowledge of English literature, grammar, and composition.
• A English graduate with a 2:1 or higher from a top 30 university.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to engage students with diverse backgrounds and learning needs.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in lesson planning and assessment.
• Patience and adaptability in addressing various classroom challenges.
• Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning experiences.
