About the Graduate Learning Support Assistant Role –

• Full-time, long-term Graduate Learning Support Assistantposition for the rest of the academic year and beyond
• Earn up to £520 per week
• Located in central Leeds with easy access to public transport
• Ideal for those interested in becoming SEN teachers, educational psychologists or speech and language therapists
• Learn alongside experienced teachers and develop new skills
• Support students on a 1-2-1 and small group basis with their academic and personal challenges
• Collaborate with in-house educational psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, and external professionals to contribute to student case studies.
• Enjoy sociable working hours between 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday

About You: The ideal candidate for this Graduate Learning Support Assistant role

• Holds a 2:1 or First-Class degree in Psychology (or a closely related subject) from a Russell Group university
• A passion for working with children, particularly those with SEN.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to helping students overcome barriers to learning.
• You should demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and the ability to read and respond appropriately to different situations and personalities in a classroom environment.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with students, providing support within the special educational needs program, helping them to overcome challenges and succeed in their learning.
