Assembly Operative / Van Lining Fitter

Burnley

Monday – Thursday 6.30 – 16.30 (overtime generally available Friday and Saturday)

£11.00 per hour

£11.60 per hour after the training

Ideal Recruit are working with a leading manufacturing organisation in Burnley who is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and professional Assembly Operative / Van Lining Fitter to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities:
Fitting out panel vans with insulated panels finished to a high quality.
Essential experience (one or more of the following)
Competent using air and battery-powered tools including drill, riveter, jigsaw, together with competence using hand tools including knives and sealant application guns

Desirable experience
Joinery/ Plumbing or similar
Having worked in a fitting/fabricating environment
Experience in working on commercial vehicles

A successful candidate will be:

Able to demonstrate an appropriate consideration for health and safety
