Warehouse Operative

Location: Shefford

Salary: £25,815 pa (with FLT Licence) or £24,570 pa (without FLT Licence)

Job Type: Perm, Fulltime - 37.5 Hours Per Week

Hours: Monday to Friday, Rotating shifts 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm

Are you ready to join a dynamic and supportive team? Our client, a leading manufacturing business with sites in Shefford and Bedford, is looking for a Warehouse Operative to contribute to their continued success.

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and dispatch orders to customers to a high-quality standard.

• Check incoming components for quantity and integrity, storing them correctly.
• Operate within Health & Safety regulations at all times.
• Be flexible to work at offsite storage locations when required.
• Handle a variety of tasks both inside and outside, in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

• A Counterbalance Forklift Truck and/or Reach Truck licence.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong manual handling skills and the ability to work in all climates (PPE provided).
• A team-oriented approach, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in basic IT skills and the ability to manage tasks with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and numeracy.
• A self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently.
• A flexible approach to work, including overtime when needed.
• A full, valid driving licence.
