Senior Structural and Civil Engineer
Location: Kuala Lumpur (On-site, Full-Time)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural and Civil Engineer to join a growing and dynamic engineering consultancy based in Kuala Lumpur. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and is passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

Role Overview

As a Senior Structural and Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of a variety of civil and structural engineering projects. You will lead and support project development from concept through to completion, ensuring that all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and best practices. The position involves active coordination with internal teams, external stakeholders, contractors, and clients to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out civil and structural engineering design, analysis, and detailing

• Manage project timelines and technical deliverables

• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines

• Ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Oversee site inspections and liaise with contractors to monitor progress and quality

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

• Prepare technical documentation and reports

• Foster positive client relationships and ensure satisfaction through effective communication and project delivery

Requirements

• Strong background in civil and structural engineering design

• Proficiency in structural analysis and engineering software tools

• Demonstrated project management experience across a range of developments

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is advantageous

• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools is a plus
