Account Manager - Technology 

Permanent, in office 5 days per week

Huntingdon

£27 - 30,000 depending on experience plus competitive on-target bonuses

Must have own transport due to company location 

Due to team growth, our technology client in Huntingdon is looking for an Account Manager to join their lovely, lively sales team. 

As part of the sales team, you will work alongside the technical team to manage and develop relationships with new and existing clients.  You will pursue leads from various sources, including lapsed clients, cold calls, and research.  You will develop a strong understanding of the company's services and products so that you become a credible, reliable partner to customers.   

Duties will include:

• Making outbound calls to customers, with the intention to develop business via varying channels
• Account managing current customer relationships
• Liaising with the technical team to get to know new products and technologies
• Learning about the products and technologies to be able to sell to customers
• Carrying out product demonstrations to customers in the demonstration showroom
• Being first point of contact for incoming calls and dealing with sales enquiries
• Processing online and phone orders and payments
• Creating trade accounts on the system
• Producing quotations and following up
• Maintaining customer CRM system
• Working to team targets
• Attending trade shows with the sales team when required

You will also:

• Be an effective team member
• Be self-motivated, keen to pick up the phone and make outbound calls.
• Be able to prioritise your own workload. 
• Have a good telephone manner and a professional approach to face to face interaction with customers
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Have used in-house systems or CRM
• Be keen and have the ability to pick up technical language, in order to use this in a sales manner
