Graduate Year 5 Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to Year 5 students both in whole-class and small group settings.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring resources and teaching methods are adapted to meet individual learning needs.
• Support students in developing key academic skills, including reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment, promoting student confidence and engagement.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff to support individual development.

Graduate Year 5 Teaching Assistant Key Requirements:

• A relevant qualification (ideally a TA qualification) or demonstrable experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with primary age children.
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting (particularly with Year 5, although other age ranges considered).
• A strong passion for education and a desire to support children’s academic and personal growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students in a positive and supportive manner.
