Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification

• A Graduate with a 2:1 or higher in a Geography or a related subject field.
• Matching A-Levels and exceptional GCSE.
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
• Proactive and eager to learn from experienced educators.

Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant: Job Specification

• Supporting students across Key stage 3 and 4 in their Geography studies.
• Provide one-one support or small group interventions to help students achieve their full potential.
• Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparing presentations and the delivery of engaging lessons.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student has the tools needed to succeed.
• Explain complex topic in an accessible and engaging way.
• Inspire students with your passion for geography, encouraging curiosity about the world around them.
