About the Graduate Russell Group Teaching Assistant role -

• Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Full-time, long-term position starting immediately (to run for the remainder of the academic year)
• Earn up to £500 per week as a Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Graduates with a degree in a core, academic subject are welcome to apply
• School is located near Harrogate
• Work with KS3 and KS4 students (in particular, those studying for GCSEs)
• Great opportunity for aspiring teachers or educational practitioners
• Previous relevant experience is preferred but not essential

About You:

We're looking for a Graduate Russell Group Teaching Assistant who:

• Hold a degree (minimum 2:1) from a Russell Group University.
• Are passionate about education and working with young people.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• May have prior experience in tutoring or working in schools (desirable but not essential).
• Are considering teacher training, such as a PGCE or School Direct program, in 2025 or beyond.
• Current driving license not essential but beneficial

As a Graduate Russell Group Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers and other education support staff to work closely with students in the classroom, as well as 1:1 and in small group settings. You’ll have the opportunity to inspire more-able students to achieve their potential, by instilling an interest for learning in them. The role will include a mixture of practical and theoretical tasks, dependant on your subject specialism, to provide a well-rounded experience for both the students’ education, and to develop your own skillset.
