Location: Welshpool, Powys

Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract - Home working possible with face-to-face visits as required.

Occupational Therapist Pay Rate: £35 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties of the Social Services Occupational Therapist:

• To provide assessment of people’s needs to support them to move into our new Extra Care Scheme in Welshpool.
• Working in partnership with the Social Work Team, to support people to move into their new home within the Extra care Scheme. 

Requirements of the Social Services Occupational Therapist:

• Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
• Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist
• Recent experience within social services / local authority / council
• Registered with the HCPC
