Salary: £17.93ph

Contract: Full Time (39 hours) Temp-Perm

Shift Time: 07:00am-16:00pm Monday-Thursday, 07:00am-12:00pm Fridays

MDE are recruiting for our manufacturing client based in Warmley. We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join our client’s dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to produce high-precision components to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring parts meet strict quality and tolerance requirements
• Conducting quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.)
• Maintaining machinery and ensuring a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner
• Ability to program using Fanuc /Mazak controls
• Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience in a precision engineering or aerospace environment
• Familiarity with continuous improvement processes
• Apprenticeship or formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
