Operations Engineer (Flexible Generation) Our client is a prominent player in the energy sector, dedicated to supporting the UK's transition to a low-carbon future. Supported by a leading global investment firm with a strong portfolio in energy and infrastructure, our client operates the largest fleet of flexible power plants in the UK. With 900MW already in operation and more than 1GW planned, they are capable of powering millions of homes, with ambitious plans to expand even further in the coming years. Since their inception in 2017, the company has quickly grown from a small-scale flexible gas generation operation to one of the country’s most successful vertically integrated energy businesses. With over 65 energy facilities across the UK, their diverse pipeline of projects includes flexible power generation, battery storage, solar, hydrogen, and energy stability services. Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced operations engineer to join a fast-growing team and ensure the smooth operation of the client’s flexible power generation plants. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency, reliability, and safety of power generation equipment while ensuring minimal downtime and maximum plant availability.
