The Place The Plockton Inn, is the newest edition to the Highland Coast Hotels collection and is placed in the heart of the Plockton community. The hotel has reopened following an extensive refurbishment of all bedrooms, restaurant and bar, and a brand new kitchen. Often referred to as the ‘Jewel of the Highlands’, Plockton Inn is our homely hotel near Skye. Located in Lochalsh, in the quaint bay side village of Plockton, our hotel is a home away from home for those looking to explore the stunning northwest Scottish Highlands and nearby Hebridean islands. The picturesque village offers breathtaking landscapes and scenery, thriving marine sea life, secluded bays, castles, beaches and more. The hotel offers accommodation of 21 bedrooms across the main hotel and annexe, some of which have spectacular sea views looking towards Duncraig Castle, and our Seafood Restaurant serves our delicious Scottish menu made with freshly caught seafood and other local produce to our many guests and visitors. This busy wee Inn is the hub of the community and the must eat destination in the area. The Inn can host over 100 covers on a busy summer’s day, serving lots of local West Coast seafood and fish dishes which the area is famous for. There is a traditional bar with local ale and whisky galore, plus an outdoor terrace.
The Position Working under an exceptional Head Chef, this is a tremendous opportunity for an ambitious, talented Sous Chef to learn and develop whilst really making a mark, being instrumental in creating what will become one of the most popular destination restaurants in the Scottish Highlands.

You will be passionate about delivering high quality, seasonal food with experience in a similar role, ideally of one year.
