Start date: Immediate

Hours: 8:30AM-4:00PM Mon-Friday

Humanities Graduate Classroom Assistant: Candidate specification

• Graduate with a 2:1 or higher in Geography/History/MFL (or related humanities subjects)
• A strong academic background through A-Levels and GCSE’S
• Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
• Experience working with children before (desirable but not essential)
• Able to design and deliver engaging learning interventions

Humanities Graduate Classroom Assistant: Job specification

• Classroom support- Work alongside experienced teachers to deliver innovative lessons across humanities subjects, ensuring all students are supported and inspired.
• Small group interventions – Lead focused 1-1 interventions to reinforce key ideas and ensure students are understanding the workload.
• Lesson preparation – As a Humanities Graduate Classroom Assistant you will assist teachers in planning lessons and creating resources that make humanities more engaging
• Build relationships – Act as a positive role model who supports students’ academic progress as well as their personal growth
