Job Title: HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver

Location: Magor, Caldicot

Employment Type: Temp to Perm

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off 2 days 2 nights pattern 0620-1830/1830-0630

Salary:  £16.33 nights plus rolled up holiday pay for all hours worked.

MDE Group UK LTD are  recruiting for HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers to join our clients established team based in the Magor area.

Job Description:

Moving trailers to allocated spots in a very busy yard

Checking trailers for any possible damage, keeping an eye on VOR's  and reporting this

Ensuring health and safety processes are followed to the letter

Keeping working areas clean and tidy

Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of tacho use and working time

Daily vehicle checks ensuring any issues are reported immediately

Good communication skills as you will be using a radio.

Experience on a Terberg/Tug Unit

Qualifications

UK HGV Class 1 Licence with 6 months experience required

Max 6 points with no major endorsements (DD/DG/DR/IN/TT/CD/UT)

Valid Tacho

Valid CPC
