The Opportunity:

We are working with outstanding secondary schools across Leicester that are looking for high-caliber graduates in core subjects (Maths, English, Science, Humanities, MFL, or Computing) to join them as Unqualified Teachers.

The role runs until July 2025, after which successful candidates will have the opportunity to train as a fully qualified teacher through the school’s teacher training provider.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Teaching and delivering lessons in your specialist subject, supported by experienced educators.
• Planning, marking, and assessing students’ work, contributing to their academic progress.
• Engaging and motivating students, fostering a love for learning.
• Working closely with department heads and mentors, gaining first-hand insight into the teaching profession.
• Developing your skills in behaviour management, lesson planning, and effective classroom strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

• A 2:1 or above in a core subject from a Russell Group university.
• A strong desire to pursue a career in teaching.
• Propel Students and prepare them for what comes next education wise
• Passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
• Prior experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or coaching) is advantageous but not essential.
