Subject Leader of Business and Economics – Candidate Specification

• A 2:1 or higher in Business Studies or similar
• A strong, confident and bright personality with an appetite for Education
• Able to be professional whilst adhering to boundaries
• Exceptional clear communication, time management, organisation, and team work
• Able to take initiative, be resourceful and pay close attention to details
• Experience in teaching KS4 and KS5
• Able to teach Economics (essential)
• Interviewing immediately

• Supporting the faculty leader with; high standards of learning and teaching, a quality curriculum, implementation of content and assessment, ensuring all pupils make better than expected progress.
• Providing academic support and ensuring Business curriculum is effective
• Based in the Birmingham area
• Working hours 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
