The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for seasonal produce, modern British cuisine, and the creativity to contribute to a respected culinary reputation.

As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in leading the kitchen team and ensuring the continued excellence of the food offering across the hotel’s bar, lounge, and restaurant. This position is perfect for a current Sous Chef seeking a change of scenery or a Junior Sous looking to make the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Chef in all areas of kitchen management and food production

• Create and develop menus with a focus on seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients

• Maintain impeccable food hygiene and health & safety standards

• Work closely with FOH teams to deliver a seamless and enjoyable dining experience

• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and supplier relations

• Ensure a clean, efficient, and well-organised kitchen environment

About You:

• Previous experience as a Junior Sous or Sous Chef in a similar high-standard kitchen (2 AA Rosette or equivalent)

• Strong knowledge of classical and modern culinary techniques

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Calm under pressure with exceptional attention to detail

• A genuine love for food, flavour, and hospitality
