Position: Contract Maintenance Engineer Location: Crewe Rate: £35 per hour Industry: Food and FMCG
Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience in the Food or FMCG industries? We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual to join our team in Crewe on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct reactive and planned preventative maintenance on production machinery.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the Food or FMCG sectors.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills.
Relevant qualifications in Engineering or Maintenance (e.g., HNC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
